Last November 12th, our Grade 5 students went on a trip to Toledo to continue exploring our Unit of Inquiry on The passage of time. One of our lines of inquiry focused on The transformation of cultural diversity in different places, and Toledo provided the perfect setting to see this in action. We enjoyed a guided tour of the historic centre, where the students walked through some of the city’s most iconic streets and discovered fascinating facts about its heritage and history. It was a great opportunity for the students to connect what we had been learning in class with everything we were experiencing firsthand. After the tour, we had lunch together and shared our impressions of the morning. We returned to school feeling happy and satisfied after a brief but truly enriching experience outside the classroom.Clara.
