International Aravaca is a proud member of International School Partnership - ISP, a community that aims at growing the world's most curious, confident minds.
Students experience adaptation to multicultural environments, an active attitude to learning, high socio-emotional development, flexibility, perseverance and confidence. They study in an environment that sees technology and multilingualism as fundamental pillars.
By enhancing the Spanish LOMLOE programme with the IB framework, pupils leave school ready to face the challenges of the modern world with confidence.
Top reasons our families choose to belong here.
Students experience the full International Baccalaureate curriculum, from the Primary Years Programme to the IB Diploma, ensuring they grow bilingual and become confident global citizens.
Children are immersed in Spanish and English since the very beginning. They follow the Spanish LOMLOE programme enhanced by the IB framework, gaining access to both domestic and international universities and career opportunities.
Pupils benefit from a competency-based method that applies knowledge and skills to real-life situations and yearly entrepreneurship projects starting from Primary.
Children benefit from personalised academic support from the Counselling Department and grow into well-rounded individuals through the Silenole anti-bullying and MindUp emotional regulation programmes.
All students receive personal iPad and enjoy Internet security, digital citizenship and Microsoft Office and iWorks training. Programming, robotics, circuit boards, sensors and 3D printing classes are integrated into school-wide projects.
Students gain from an active stimulation approach, demanding greater motivation and participation as they contrast their views with peers and present their reasoning. With Progentis they train eye and brain coordination, enhancing reading fluency, comprehension and vocabulary.
As part of ISP, students access international experiences abroad with the ILOS programme. They can also choose to attend school terms in European or American schools or to enjoy week-long fun experiences all around the world.
Families receive constant communications about children and their well-being through the iParent app and they are welcomed at the Café con Marta workshops, a space to share opinions and suggestions about the school's management.
Students aged two to 12 coming from any school can join our Summer Camp and spend a fun summer together while playing and learning English through sports, classes, workshops and tech experimentation.
Students at International Aravaca achieve exceptional results and gain admission to prestigious universities worldwide.

International Aravaca was founded with the aim to become the best international school in Madrid.
Our first Baccalaureate students celebrated their graduation and achievements. All of them passed, making us proud of their journeys and honoured to have been by their side for years.
Our 5° EPO students won the first Premio Jóvenes Emprendedores South Summit presented by the President.
The whole school community enjoyed our Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Congress, with guests such as Silvia Leal, Carlos Pallero, Otto Benavides and our own specialised teachers Ana de la Cruz and Virginia de la Parra.
Students gained a unique opportunity to access the IB Primary Years Programme, as IA became the first international school in the area authorized to offer it.
The class continued the IB path, accessing the Middle Years Programme thanks to IA being the first international school in the area to obtain the authorisation to teach it.
As IA gained the Diploma Programme authorisation, CAM 13 and Eco School certifications, pupils started to benefit from a truly bilingual school offering the full IB continuum and taking active steps towards sustainability.
IA has now earned accolades such as Forbes' #12 in 'The best schools in Spain', El Confidencial's 'The best public schools in Spain', El Español's 'The 20 best international schools in Spain' and 'The 100 best schools in Spain', and Micole's 'The best schools in Spain'.
Inclusivity
Students from 37 nationalities make up 23% of our community. Respect for different cultures is a core pillar, and this is embraced through classroom discussions and activities.
Respect
Pupils assimilate respect as a daily practice, from the dining room, where they seed accommodated dietary needs, to the classroom, where mutual understanding is emphasised.
Lifelong learning
Children learn practical life-skills, like public speaking and critical thinking, ensuring they are prepared for the future. This fosters the understanding that lifelong learning is essential for success.
Community
Pupils experience a strong sense of community and belonging thanks to our caring team that fosters a family-like atmosphere where every teacher knows each student and family by name. This personal connection creates a transparent, supportive and welcoming environment.
International mindset
Through the whole IB continuum, children are immersed in an environment that instils global awareness from an early age, making them open-minded.
IA's community managed to make me enthusiastic about learning, trusting my abilities even more than I did myself. The school taught me that grades do not define a person and that, with hard work, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.
Lucia Oltra / Class of 2023, Graduate
I'd like to thank the whole team at Internacional Aravaca for their help whenever I needed it, for being able to bring a smile to my face at every moment of the course and, especially, for having trusted me more than I did. They made me see that grades do not define you as a person and that you are capable of achieving whatever you set your mind to and always live life with a smile on your face. After many years of sharing moments with the school's community, I can say that it is my second home and even part of my family. Thank you very much Aravaca International for all this life by your side.
Benefit from a strong focus on bilingualism and develop essential life skills to succeed at International Aravaca.
