The school joyfully celebrated Carnival across the Early Years and Primary stages.

On 17 February, the school joyfully celebrated Carnival across the Early Years and Primary stages. It was a day full of colour, music and excitement, with a very special highlight: all teachers surprised the students by dressing up as cowboys, adding even more fun and energy to the celebration.

In Primary and Secondary, up to Year 9 (3º ESO), the traditional House Competition took place. Students took part in a wide range of challenges and games, showcasing their skills in activities such as group dances, discovering proverbs from around the world, musical chairs and many other cooperative and entertaining challenges.

After a closely contested competition, the Yellow House emerged as the winner. The prize will be awarded on 2 March. In addition, several students received awards for the most original costumes, both in individual and pair categories.

In Early Years, students enjoyed a morning specially adapted to their age, with games organised by level and space. The youngest pupils took part in playful activities, while I4 and I5 students proudly joined the Carnival parade, walking through the corridor to the rhythm of the music and showing their costumes to the rest of the school community. The celebration continued afterwards with games in the playground.

To bring these festive days to a close, on Wednesday 18 February, Year 1 students celebrated the traditional Burial of the Sardine, a symbolic activity that marks the end of Carnival and the beginning of Lent, bidding farewell to this special Carnival 2026 celebration.
