CHRISTMAS CROSS-COUNTRY RACE – POZUELO DE ALARCÓN

29-12-2025

On Wednesday, 10 December, students from Internacional Aravaca participated in the Christmas Cross Country Race organised by the Pozuelo Town Council.

Last Wednesday, December 10th, Year 4 Primary pupils, together with a selected group of Year 5 and Year 6 Primary students and Year 8 and Year 10 Secondary students, took part in the School Christmas Cross-Country Race organised by the Pozuelo de Alarcón City Council, held in Adolfo Suárez Park. Students competed in the benjamin, alevín, youth and cadet categories.

Despite the rainy weather, our students faced the race with enthusiasm, determination and exemplary sportsmanship, showing their commitment to sport, teamwork and healthy competition in a natural environment.

Special mention should be made of the performance in the alevín category, where a team of 18 runners delivered an outstanding performance. Three of our students finished among the top ten: Bruno de la Mata, who achieved a well-deserved 6th place, and Juan and Javier Barba, who crossed the finish line in 9th and 10th position respectively, earning diplomas in recognition of their excellent results.

Beyond the competition results, the event was a highly positive experience for all participants, who demonstrated key sporting values such as discipline, fair play, leadership, endurance, teamwork and healthy lifestyle habits.
