During the 2nd term, MYP2 Visual Arts students worked through a process based on research, creation and collaboration.

Each student researched an artist and analysed one of their artworks to understand how ideas and identity are communicated through art. They then designed, tested and improved an activity inspired by that artist.

Working in pairs, students shared their knowledge and completed their partner’s activity, exploring new techniques and forms of expression.

Finally, they reflected on their learning, recognising how art can communicate identity and how collaboration enriches the creative process.
