On April 29, the 6th-grade students at the Colegio Internacional de Aravaca enjoyed an enriching cultural field trip to the historic city of Alcalá de Henares—a day filled with learning, creativity, and discoveries that allowed the students to engage with our country’s historical and literary heritage in a lively and participatory way.From the very start, the field trip turned into a real adventure. Throughout the tour, the students participated in a unique storytelling activity in which a friendly stork became the star of the day. Using an image of this winged traveler as a central theme, the children created a collective story using photographs taken at various iconic spots around the city. Each spot visited served as a setting to imagine new situations and continue the story, sparking creativity, teamwork, and the storytelling skills of all participants.The first stop was the iconic Plaza de Cervantes, the heart of the city and a place brimming with life and history.
